It is also a great refresher course for your cereal science knowledge. By the end of this course, you should be able to make better, data driven, science based decisions about what to do in your bakery.
This week long course is co-taught between a lean - six sigma black belt and master black belt with years of industry and teaching experience. Not only do students master the tools and methodology of lean - six sigma, they are required to lead a cost savings initiative in order to obtain the certification. This course is designed for people who want to lead process improvement projects, and it can even lead to a career in process improvement. This course is offered in partnership with Wesleyan University.
This one day course is designed for members of your organization that you believe will be involved in running projects on their own, in service of the greater portfolio of projects. These may include managers or supervisors that you see making it to the next level in your organization. These people will be lean - six sigma experts, capable of implementing all of the tools and analyzing data, but they might need a little bit longer in order to step into the project management role of a lean - six sigma black belt. The class size here is intended to be smaller, with a maximum of 4 people and will end in a test of all material.
